My doctor said the baby is ready my due date is in two days, but i want to know if it costs more to induce labor?

I am 38 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have been having contractions since Tuesday. The contractions have been irregular but get stronger. The doctor said that until they become regular not to go to the hospital. I have been doing a lot of walking trying to get the contractions to become regular but so far that has not worked. Should I try other things to help induce labor naturally and if so what would you suggest?

My best friend is 4 days over due with her 3rd child. She is so completely frustrated with being pregnant & asked me for help. She wants to know how she can safely induce labor at home. I really feel bad for her, she is miserable, so please offer any suggestions.

i’m 39 weeks and the doctor wants to induce my labor next week but i’m ready for my little one to come and i have been walking and my husband doesn’t want to have sex becuase of how close my due date is and becasue i have already dilated to 3 cm. but nothing seems to work so i was just looking for another option.

So I did acupressure yesterday to induce labor. It said that it could take 48 hours to work. But I’m not sure how long you’re suppose to do accupressure. So I dont know if i did it long enough or not. Anybody used it before???

i eread on someones answers that someone used reflexology to induce labor…i dont want to hearany "wait till hes ready crap"..or "sex", just let me know if anyones tried this and it worked or if they know where to rub ..thats all i wanna know ..Im past term just so yall know , im going for vbac so i cant be induced..its either natural or csection so to the point answers only please
