Ways to Inducing Labor Naturally
okay i know sex, and walking around can do it, but is there anything else that REALLY works to get things going?
I’m 37 weeks pregnant today, and I was woundering how other women induced their labors naturally that ACCUALLY WORKED. I would like to have him in the next two weeks, since the doctor already said that he is a big baby.
did it work? im already dialated to 1 and cervix is thin i want to try some inducement now. anyone who comments " just let the baby come on its own" will be ignored. i not asking that question, my question is above. thank you!
sorry to be rude but anyone who has tried anything to induce labor except walk and sex can you tell me what you did and if it worked or not
thanks!
Every time I have a friend who is pregnant, the doctors are threatening to induce her labor if she’s even a few days past due. Heck, I was two weeks late and there was no problem. Do you think there’s a valid reason for this, or do you think doctors are trying to have too much control over a natural process? After all, especially with women who don’t have regular periods I’d think the due date could be a week or so off anyway.
Do you think inducing so often is okay, or do you think doctors should lay off more and let nature take its course? Why?
I am wondering what you all have tried to start labor. I’ve heard about the usual (walking, castor oil, sex) but I wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas that have been proven to work.
I already know all the ways to induce labor(which none have worked for me). I am just curious on some of the ways other people induced labor on their own and it worked. So tell me some of your stories…
I am currently 2cm dilated and my contractions are about 3-5 min apart. Its more pressure then pain.
The nurses that induced my labor (pitocin drip) had me on a fetal monitor, but they left the room for hours at a time. Is this safe practice? I have heard other people say you should not be left alone when you are induced.
I am 39 weeks and 1cm dilated. My OB has already set up an induction day (baby is too large), but I would like to avoid the medical aspect. Just curious if this "natural" method of induction worked for you.
