Hi. I am 37 weeks 2 days pregnant with my 2nd baby. my first baby I had induced at 38 weeks by breaking my waters and later pitocin. I would just like to speed up labor this time around without having to induce by going into the hospital to have my waters broke. Can anyone tell me their experiences with different inductions (not natural) i.e. stripping membranes, gels etc etc, and the time length it took after that for contractions to start? I have a drs appt later this afternoon and would like to talk to him about different methods. All input and stories GREATLY apperciated. Thanks

I am already dialated 2-3 cm, but no actual labor.

My first pregnancy went over 5 days past my EDD(estimated due date)and i lived in Houston now ive moved to West Texas and im feeling pretty misirable now and would like to have my baby on his due date. If you are a parent or just know some at home "remidies" answer my question?!

My doctor said it is very likely I will be having my baby this weekend , the baby is lying very low and is already 3.5 cm dropped . I had contractions all day yesterday but they werent regular and they went away right before I went to bed . Anyone have any ideas where I can speed up the process or induce labor – and sex is outta the question , my husband wont do it , I already tried !!!

My sister is full term and needs to have her baby already. She’s tried jumping on the bed, cleaning, walking stairs and playing with her toddler son and nothing has worked yet. Suggestions???

im 38 weeks and am willing to try anything to get my baby girl out. doc says she is ready, all im waiting for is labor to begin. im so big and uncomfortable! last month i felt as big as a house, now i feel like an apartment building! help!

does she need to do it for in order for it to be effective. She is doing the webbing between her thumb and index finger and a place down on her ankle. We know you are supposed to rub for a few minutes or until you get a contraction but when do you repeat and how often and how long. Anyone with experience. She did do acupressure with the last pregnancy and went into labor that night. Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know of someways to natrally induce labor that actually work? without using herbs or pills.
