is it safe to take castor oil to induce labor at 38 weeks if the cord is wrapped around the neck but is very loose around her neck? please help need an answer thank you

My due date is next Tuesday. This is my first and I have heard that the first is usually late. How long do they let you go usually?

Hi I just went into labor on Tuesday but I was out of town when it happened, so we went to a near by hospital..do you know they did not even have any kind of doctor on the floor, only nurses in maternity/triage, so they gave me a shot to stop my contractions that were 2 minutes apart and I was 2 cm dilated:(
Needless to say my obgyn was not happy but at least I’ll be able to deliver at my hospital with my Dr’s…..
Im just really frustrated I could have my son in my arms right now
So I am considering naturally inducing myself….any suggestions? Please be nice.

Just out of curiosity,How do some women start there labor early? Iv read some things but nothing that isnt out of our normal life style,Like walking,laughing and having sex is normal and those three things can help.

I’m leaving out of state within a week. I have to leave on a family emergency and I have no idea when I will be back.I’m scared while I’m on the road driving I might go into labor. Would the doctor induce me now so I wouldn’t have to give birth in another state where I dont even know where the closest hospitals are? I only have insurance for the baby in my state.
I do have a cerclage (cervical stitches) in. If I go into labor on the road it will tear my cervix.

im 39 weeks and 5 days pregoo. this is my 2nd baby. && i want to see him already. i want to know some good and effective ways to induce labor on my own. if you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know.

Just wondering about other Mom’s experiences with taking Castor oil to induce there labor. With my first child I took it and was in labor within 3-4 hours of taking it and then delivered a few hours later. I am now overdue and took some last night to try and get things going and nothing at all happened, had a few cramps and that’s it, it didn’t even give me diarrhea. How did it work or not work for you?
I have been trying everything with no luck, walking, swimming, sex, spicy foods!lol

i’m over due and i’ve tired everything my doctor said to do to induce my labor but it isnt working i dont want to go to the hospital and have it done so what can i do

even if it helps a little, does anyone have a web site or anything that explains how to do it well??

i was just curious to hear real stories on how it worked, if it even did.
