If so, how or what causes the labor to start?

How long should it take acupressure to work to induce pregnancy?
I am almost 37 weeks, which is when I will start trying it since my husband, doctor, and self have medical reasons to have her out sooner rather than later.
I KNOW, I know… "The baby won’t come until she’s ready… 37 weeks is too early…"
I just need to know:

1: Can acupressure could help speed things up as early as 37 weeks?
and
2: How long it could realistically take, if it works?

The doctor wants to keep an eye on things and is thinking about inducing, but I would much rather be able to induce naturally, so I’m gathering facts now for in case it comes to it!

Anything work for you on inducing labor other than going to the hospital to get induced?

I have heard that sex and walking usually work however, my partner and I had sex the other morning and it landed me in the hospital for severe bleeding and trauma to my cervix. Also, walking for long periods of time is actually painful for me, as my ankles and feet swell so much that they feel like they are going to burst. I am 37 weeks pregnant and looking for a natural way to induce labor that wont harm the baby… Does anyone have any suggestions???

What a few good tips to induce labor besides castor oil because i dont want to do that. Only answer this if your not going to tell me "your being selfish" or anything to that sort! Im not selfish im just at the end of my rope & very uncomfortable. Its not about "what fits into my schedule" SO i really dont need those answers. Serious answers only please & thank you.

I’ve got 9 days until my due date and I’m going CRAZY! I don’t think I’m ever going to have this baby. Does anyone know how to do nipple stimulation to induce labor? I have no clue how to do it. I heard you can use an electric breast pump. I need detailed instructions if possible. Thanks a lot!

I am contemplating inducing labor. I just know nothing about it. Can someone please describe the process, what will happen, what to expect, etc. ?
