So im due today,
totally uncomfortable, and just wanting this baby outtttt!
My neighbor gave me some castor oil to try, she said she took it with her 2 youngest girls and had them with in the next 24 hours.

Im really scared to take it lol,

I am 35 week’s and I am a very tinny person. So it is hard for me to be carring around my baby, with the hard knot’s in my stomach. The doctor’s say that she is ready to come but she is not doing anything else. How do I move her along?

Is there anyway to induce labor yourself safely? I am far enough along where it’d be ok for me to go into labor. I am about 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced and my cervix is very soft, no real contractions yet just Braxton Hicks contractions. This is my second child.

We all know the old wives tales that castor oil can induce labor. I was just curious how many of you tried this, and whether or not it worked. I tried it with my first son, and it didnt do anything, and now I am 38 weeks pregnant with my second and wondering whether or not I should give it a try again. Im 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. My doctor said that if Im not in labor or dont have the baby by tuesday, he is going to strip my membranes. Does anyone have experience with this? And if so, how long after did active labor start?

I have done A LOT of research online about several different "natural" ways to induce labor, and ontop of other things i am going to do, like walking and sex, I have decided on a schedule for taking herbs.

Morning:

The organic raspberry leaf tea helps with toning the uterus and preparing for labor.

The Evening primrose is a sugnificant source of prostaglandin, which helps ripen and soften the cervix and increases uterine contractions.

The Chamomile Tea helps you relax and get good sleep, and can possibly start contractions.

I forgot to say that I am full term 37 weeks and 2 days and I am trying to prevent having a c section on the 21st this month. I have gestational diabetes and even though my ultrasounds show a healthy average sized baby, Kaiser will not let me go past 40 weeks and try to have the baby naturally, its their policy. so in the mean time im trying to induce labor myself
