I’m 34 weeks and plan to ask my doctor next week. Had a csection 22 months ago cause the cervix swelled. All my fault pushing to early. Now I wanna try the vbac but want to help move along so I’m not stuck getting a last min csection. I know sex and walking help. What else?

I have reached my due date and thought for sure she was coming early. I have had all kinds of pains and last night I thought THIS IS IT!
I am having sharp shooting pains in my abdomon, sides, ribs, legs… lol I can feel my pelvis separating and it cracks when I am trying to shift sides while sleeping. I am getting soreness throughout my whole belly and I even woke up 3 times each 10 minutes apart thinking this is a contraction… then I fell asleep and didn’t wake up for 2 hours… so much for that idea, lol.
Just wondering how and when your labor started? I am convinced with the major discomforts I am having throughout the night that labor will occur at night for me, I keep telling myself "if you made it through the night, you will be waiting another day."

I need some advice on how to induce my labor at home. I am dilated to a 2 and my cervix is starting to soft.

I’m getting induced sometime tomorrow, and I’m just wondering if anyone has advice or tips about how to prepare for the process.
I KNOW inducing labor has a bunch of negatives opposed to going into labor naturally. I know that contractions are going to be more painful, I’ll more than likely have to get an epidural and induction increases the chances of having a c-section.
I’m mostly looking for ways to prepare for the induction.
Thanks for the advice!!

I am 38 weeks and just curious, i get alot of braxton hicks, but even when they get a bit painful, the pain is up high and I know from reading in here that labour is usually down low. Just wondering if labour starts softly for most people and progresses to real pain or what. I also read in a lot of answers that often the waters don’t break until later. Just want to know some other womens experiences, thanks.
