i heard about this and thinking of trying it but it makes u really sick as well. im going to b induced on the 10th but i want so bad to go into labor myself. (come on mommy’s be nice i know ill prolly get alot of rude answers with this that i don’t need at this time)

I’m 38 wks prego and have been dilated to 3cm for 2 wks almost and I’m 90 effaced. I need some advice on acupressure please!!! Does it work? How long does it take to work? Where do I press or where are the pressure points at? Has anyone used this and has it worked for u?? I’m over the constant pressure I feel and not sleeping well and pains and everything! I want it to end…. Its becoming depressing!

I know the baby will come when he is ready but I am willing to try anything to get out of being induced with pitocin. I am 37 weeks and already 2cm dilated and 50% effaced, the baby is at -3 station right now also. They said that at 40 weeks they are going to induce me if he is not here and I really do not want to go that route. What are some of the natural ways that were said to bring on labor?

Yesterday around 5 pm i took 2 tablespoons of castor oil with a cup of orange juice, I layed in bed for a few hours & i was having contractions, they were more in my back but I didnt have the side effects- like vomiting & diarreah. I got out of bed around 7 to eat some hot wings, took 2 more tablespoons & i did feel a little sick afterwards but nothing else happened. no more contractions, no side effects, so Im not sure if anything else wil happen. i want to know your experience with castor oil & did you go into labor soon after?

I am 2 centimeters so far and 50% effaced. does that mean I’ve started labor? I’ve read that women who have already had a kid before may begin to dilate before they’ve started labor. That sounds to be that the beginning of early labor is when you begin to dilate. Is this right? I had contractions all day yesterday but none so far today. How can i get them started again?

Im 39 weeks pregnant and my dr. is talking about inducing me due to the size of my son. I had potocin with my 2.5 yr old and I DONT want it with this one. Does anyone know any home remedies that could help me progress labor. Im 3cm dilated and I tried castor oil (NASTY) with my son and nothing worked. So if you have any ideas please throw them my way. Thanks. Oh and Sex is out of the question my husband is in the U.S. Army and is not home.
