im currently 24 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first child and me and my man are a little nervous if having sex is still safe and for how long its safe for hes i think scared to do anything and is wanting to stop now plz help

Im 2 days overdue. The doctors have told me that my baby is over 10 pounds. probably around 10 pounds 10 oz by now. My mom said that when she was pregnant with me she took 4 tsp. of Castor Oil and 6 hours later she went into labor. Im going to see my doctor tomorrow and get a NST done. (non stress test) . So if i take the castor oil tonight and then get a NST tomorrow, they can check to see if the baby is under any stress from the castor oil (if i dont go into labor tonight) There also planning to induce me some time this week. But it would be nice to go into labor without being induced ( because the contractions are more painful when your induced). This is my first baby and i was also told that theres a 50% chance that im going to need a c-section. (because of the babys size) My doctor told me to have lots of sex and what not to bring on labor. Is it safe to take castor oil?

Im soooooooo ready to have this baby! Ive had a NST 2 times a week for the past 3 weeks and everything looks good.

oh yeah! and i was reading the bottle of Castor oil and it says right on the bottle to not take if pregnant……why? is it because it can put you into labor?
I saw a specialist and she felt my stomach and looked at the ultrasound (knowing that the measurements are not accurate) and shes positive that my baby is going to be over 9 lbs when born.

My daughter is being induced next friday and I just don’t remember much about mine. So many people have told her horror stories and I wanted to get some answers for myself. What were your experiences?

I’m 38 weeks and yesterday my dr told me if I wanted to try I could induce labor naturally. I can tell my son is soooooo ready to come out and to be honest so are we. He’s 7lbs 12ozs and perfect!! What r some ways to naturally help bring on labor?? I’ve been having some small contractions false labor and my dr told me my body an baby are ready for labor, so how do I help my body out with starting it??? I do not want to be medically induced what so ever and I told my dr this can anyone help me out here?? Thank uu

I am at 1cm or was last time I went to doctor. This is my second child and with my first I was unable to naturally dilate on my own. I had to be induced my body couldn’t do it on it’s own. I don’t want to go through 3 weeks of this again and was reading about Castor oil everyone is so split on it. I don’t care about getting diarrhea at least I would be all cleaned out if the baby did come. So does anyone have any advice? And just to add I have had a ultrasound and my baby is ready to come out he is just sitting in there getting fat.

I’m a day overdue, and I was wondering what I could do, that will ACTUALLY work, to help induce labor. I’ve tried sex, walking, jogging, jumping jacks, stretching, and eating spicy foods. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m extremely anxious to hold my first little girl in my arms. Please give me something!

So my son is due tomorrow, and I have already tried every natural remedy to induce labor. Castor oil (bad idea), walking, sex, spicy food, pressure points you name it I tried it. I have come to the conclusion that my son is going to come when he is ready! I have a planned induction for August 30 if I haven’t already had him by then. My question is what did you do to relax while waiting for your baby to come? I am finding myself very excited, but am having a lot of anxiety as well. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I am 37 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and my doc said I have a big baby on the way, so she is planning to induce me at 39 weeks. I am ready NOW! I am in so much pain and discomfort, this has been the pregnancy from hell and I’m just done, I’m over it! The doc encourages sex to ripen and open the cervix, she is not worried if I go into labor early. Well, I’ve been doing the sex. Now, my 1st born, I did the Black Cohash tea and went 10 days early. I drank one cup and 2 days later another cup, within 24 horus after that 2nd cup, I had my daughter. Now, all I could find in stores was the capsules, which they say you can open and make a tea. Well, since this tea tastes absolutely horrid, I have just been taking the capsules. Its been almost a week and no baby. First day I only took one, everyday since then I have been taking 2, with the exception of yesterday and today, its been 3 caps. I can tell everything is getting close, I’ve dropped, I’m VERY sore down there and my hips are separating (cause I feel them grinding and they are very stiff getting up and down). SO, it seems I’m getting ready, but why are the caps taking so long?? They are 540mg caps. That seems like alot and 3 being a good dose. But when the hell is this kid coming?? Help if anyone has any experiance I would greatly appreciate feedback. OH I also lost my mucus plug already, about 3 days ago. Last preg, within 24 hours after that plug coming out, I had my kid.
