Inducing labor?? I have tried almost all of them, so I was wondering of anyone has tried one that works?? On Thursday my doctor is going to help the process start if it hasn’t already started by then. I want to do everything that I can to go into labor naturally but I am running out of time, so to speak. I am not looking for any ones opinions on at-home labor inducers, so if that is your only comment please move along and don’t waste your written breathe

I’m wondering if you went into labor days or weeks before with the second, experiences, etc. I’m 36+6 weeks with second child and was induced at 39+4 weeks with first. I’m nervous about being in labor at home with no meds since I was spoiled being induced. Anyone with experience to share?
FYI I plan on going to hospital for the birth, just told to wait until contractions are 3 minutes apart. Wishing I could have some at home demoral or something…

37 weeks pregnant with my first baby and BEYOND ready to have her!!!! my last doctor appointment was yesterday and i wasnt dialating but i was thinning some! so let i my doctor know im up for being induced and he informed me i need to be showing some more signs of labor before we talk about inducing me…so i need to be dialated to ATLEAST one at my next doctor appointment (in one week) LOL i know that this thing usually has to happen on its own but are there ANY ways i can help move things along?? PLEASE HELP thank yooouuu
well my friend was just induced and she was 39 weeks..she was dialated 1 cm for about a week and a half and her doctor induced her..her baby and her are healthy and going home today..ive heard so many different things about inducing i dont know what to believe..ive also heard of the dangers of having a baby past 40 weeks..and as for u not being full term utill 38 weeks well ive heard different..my doctor any every one else has told me week 37 your baby is concidered full term and can come at anytime

SHE IS 65 DAYS IN. IF YOU KNOW TELL ME I HAVE HAD A LOT OF LITTERS.. AND NOT FOUND NEW WAYS TO INDUCE LABOR.. BREEDRES ONLY HELP ME IF YOU CAN… THE VET WILL COME TO OUR HOME ONCE MY DOGS ARE IN LABOR BUT WILL NOT INDUCE…..??

I’ve had people telling me to do this for months and I’ve been pretty skeptical about it. I’m not really sure that I believe any of the "natural" ways to induce labor at home are effective. But I have been in severe pain for the past two days so I am getting desperate and was wondering if anyone has had any success with this method? What are the risks?

I am pregnant with my 4th child. With my other 3 I had to be induced because my body would not go into labor on it’s own. However, with my 3rd child, I was induced a few days before my due date because of his size. I heard that there are types of acupuncture for pregnant women. I watched a show yesterday where a woman had acupuncture and within a day, she went into labor and she was more relaxed for the labor and delivery. I have hard labors with my pregnancies, probably because of the amount of pitocin that I need to get my labor going. I would really like to try something different this time. I want to be able to labor some at home instead of having to find a way to get comfortable in the hospital. Can anyone give me any ideas or tell me if I have any options, such as the acupuncture?
My first child was 14 days overdue before I was induced and my 2nd was 10 days overdue. They both were over 9 lbs, and pretty big. This is rough on me because I am normally 5′2" and around 145 lbs. I have a somewhat small frame. I was induced 3 days before my due date with my 3rd and he weighed 8 lbs 9 oz. My dr would like me to have this baby before 39 weeks because my last labor was so hard on me, but she doesn’t think I need a c-section.

I need some advice on how to induce my labor at home. I am dilated to a 2 and my cervix is starting to soft.

I am now 22 weeks pregnant. I would like to get induced at 38 weeks, because my husband is in training for the army right now and comes home for christmas, but has to leave 2 weeks before my due date which is jan. 14th. ill be 38 weeks on the 30th of december. since its our first baby i really want him to be there and see the birth of our daughter. would a doctor induce at 38 weeks because of my situation?
